About Mount Canlaon
Canlaon volcano (also spelled Kanlaon) on Negros Island is one of the most active volcanoes of the Philippines and the most active one of the Central Philippines. It forms the highest peak of Negros Island and is located west of Canlaon about 36 km southeast of Bacolod City and belongs to Canlaon National Park. it was one of the highest trekking destinations in this area and a lot of people visits this place nowadays.Address : Mount Canlaon, Negros Occidental, Philippines

Fountain of JusticeThe Fountain of Justice is a historic landmark in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. It marks the location where the house of Jose Ruiz de Luzurriaga used to stand. It was in this house that the surrender of Bacolod by Spanish authorities to the Filipino forces of General Aniceto Lacson took place on November 6, 1898, during the Negros Revolution. Luzurriaga acted as a mediator between the two belligerents. The landmark now lies in front of the old Bacolod City Hall.
Bacolod Public PlazaOne of the remarkable landmarks of Bacolod City is the Bacolod Public Plaza, a 2-hectare trapezoidal park with trees around the periphery and a gazebo at the center. Constructed in 1927 with music as the theme, the plaza has been a perfect place for recreation, political, cultural, and spiritual activities. Today, the plaza is used as a gathering place for workers, students, and families during all times of the year. Church service is also held at the park during Sundays.
San Sebastian CathedralFamously called Bacolod Cathedral, the San Sebastian Cathedral is the most famous religious and historical landmark in the province of Bacolod. It was first built as a little chapel made of wood in the early 19th century. That time, the church only had one small bell. the church was reconstructed in 1882 into a bigger structure made of coral stones from Guimaras and hardwood from Palawan. It was one of the famous pilgrimage centres in this area.
The Negros MuseumNegros Museum is a privately owned provincial museum situated in the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol Complex in Bacolod, Philippines. The museum is the first in its kind to not house precious archaeological artifacts but rather was designed to display Negrense lifestyle and society, which includes old furnishings and loaned items from ancestral houses. It also includes art exhibits and expositions from different local artists and foreign artists resident in Negros Island Region.
Capitol Park and LagoonThe Capitol Park and Lagoon is a provincial park located in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines. One of the features of the park are matching sculptures depicting a woman standing alongside a water buffalo and that of a man pulling another water buffalo.
