Jotunheimen National Park is a national park in Norway, recognized as one of the country's premier hiking and fishing regions. The national park covers 1,151 square kilometres and is part of the larger area Jotunheimen. More than 250 peaks rise above an elevation of 1,900 metres, including Northern Europe's two highest peaks: Galdhøpiggen at 2,469 metres, and Glittertind at 2,465 metres.Address : Norway

SurtningssueSurtningssue is the seventh-highest mountain in Norway. It lies in Jotunheimen, on the border between the municipalities Lom and Vågå. Surtningssue has several distinct peaks, of which Store Surtningssue is the highest. Surtningssue is most easily reached from the cabin Memurubu, along the northern shore of Gjendin.
KyrkjaKyrkja is a mountain of Innlandet in southern Norway. Kyrkja is nicknamed “The Chruch” because its peak is extremely steep and resembles a church spire. Kyrkyja was thought to be unclimbable until the 19th century, due to its steepness. Despite its slopes, climbing to the top is a day’s hike, helped by the rocks covering the mountainside. Kyrkyja used to be covered in snow, but climate change has severely lessened the amount of snow on the mountain.
BesshøThis enormous dome-shaped mountain is a solid eye-catcher for anyone who drives highway 51 over Valdresflye or walks Besseggen. Almost 1300 meters it rises straight up from Gjende, and if you come driving north over Valdresflye, you get a real impression of the dimensions. Besshøe is a popular hiking destination, both due to the fantastic view from the top and the relatively easy access.
GlittertindNorway's second-highest mountain Glittertind, which lies 2452 meters above sea level, is a majestic peak with a great view over large parts of Jotunheimen. This summit is coved of a magnificent snow and ice cap, and has its name from the river Glitra, which flows from Glitterholet in Visdalen.
GaldhøpiggenGaldhøpiggen is the tallest mountain in Norway, Scandinavia, and Northern Europe, at 2,469 m above sea level. It is in the municipality of Lom in Innlandet county and in the Jotunheimen mountain area. During the ice ages, it was heavily glaciated and got its present form. The theory that the highest summits in Norway stayed above the ice as nunataks have been abandoned by most geologists.
BesseggenBesseggen is one of Norway's most popular mountain classics. The green waters of the Gjende lake, cradled amidst the steep mountains of the majestic Jotunheimen National Park, create the perfect scenery. Bessvatnet lake, on the opposite side of the ridge, is considered to be Norway's clearest lake, where you can see as far as 30 meters below the surface of the water.
