About Haraldshaugen
Haraldshaugen is a countrywide monument in Haugesund, Norway. The monument turned into erected during the millennial party of Norway's unification into one nation beneath the rule of thumb of King Harald Fairhair. Tungenes FyrA beautiful lighthouse located in the Rogaland county of Norway. The lighthouse is no longer in use, but it is used as a fine arts center and lighthouse/maritime museum. There is also a cafe in one of the buildings. Historically, the lighthouse was the main light marking the entrance to the Byfjorden.
TalgjeA beautiful and populated island which was located in the eastern part of Stavanger municipality in Rogaland. The Talgjefjord Tunnel connects the island to the larger island of Rennesøy which in turn is connected to the mainland through a series of tunnels and bridges. The island has a long history. The farm that today is known as Gard was once the seat of major clans that controlled the western part of Norway.
