About Jernaldergården
The Iron Age farm at Ullandhaug is a reconstructed farm from the migration period, approx. 350 - 550 AD The farm is located on top of Ullandhaug, about 3 kilometers from Stavanger city center, with magnificent views of Nord-Jæren and Hafrsfjord. During the migration period, there was a farm on this site, and curator Tor Helliesen at Stavanger Museum investigated and mapped the sites of the Iron Age farm as early as 1900.Address : Madlamarkveien 152, 4021 Stavanger, Norway

Sverd i fjellThe three swords commemorate the historic Battle of Hafrsfjord which by tradition took place there in the year 872 when King Harald Fairhair gathered all of Norway under one crown. The largest sword represents the victorious Harald, and the two smaller swords represent the defeated kings.
MøllebuktaBeach and recreational area in historical surroundings from the Viking period in Hafrsfjord. The area is located close to Madlaveien south of Madlaleiren. A small river from Store Stokkavatn flows through the beach area. The monument "Sverd i fjell" (Swords in Rock) made by Fritz Røed, is a monument to commemorate the battle of Hafrsfjord that unified Norway into one kingdom in 872.
