About Heidegg Castle
Heidegg Castle is a castle in the municipality of Hitzkirch of the Canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. It is a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Heidegg was the only castle to survive the arson attacks by the Swiss Confederates. Legend has it that it was suddenly blanketed in fog as the soldiers marched through the Seetal.
