Museum for designThe Museum für Gestaltung Zürich is the leading Swiss museum for design and visual communication. The museum reaches a broad national and international audience, at its two sites in the city of Zurich and through its touring exhibitions. Parts of its collections are housed opposite the museum's main building on Limmatstrasse, and in a commercial building on Förrlibuckstrasse.
Museum Haus KonstruktivHaus Konstruktiv, the Foundation for Constructive and Concrete Art, was founded by private individuals in 1986. From 1987 to spring 2001 it was located at Seefeldstrasse 317 in the outer Seefeld area of Zurich and was known as the "House for Constructive and Concrete Art". The foundation promotes "constructive, concrete, and conceptual art and design".
Freitag TowerThe Freitag Tower is a building in Zurich that is used as a sales point and viewing platform. The tower consists of a total of 17 used overseas containers. It is located in the industrial quarter near the Hardbrücke train station. The platform at a height of 26 meters can be reached via 110 steps. The stairs are inside nine containers stacked on top of each other. The four lowest layers of containers are salesrooms for the Freitag company.
