About Simsonbrunnen

The Simsonbrunnen is located on Kramgasse in Bern and is one of Bern's old town fountains from the 16th century. It was built in 1527 and expanded in 1544 to include an octagonal water basin and the fountain figure. The fountain represents the biblical story of Samson killing a lion found in Judges.
