About Stadtmuseum Aarau
The Schlössli is a castle in the Swiss city of Aarau. It is located on the north-eastern edge of the old town, dates back to the 13th century, and is the city's oldest surviving building. Today it houses the Aarau City Museum. The core of the complex is a well-preserved It consists of limestone and coarsely hewn boulders stacked on top of one another. Naturama AargauThe Naturama is a natural history museum in the Swiss city of Aarau. It is located on Bahnhofstrasse diagonally across from the train station and next to the old canton school. The museum's tasks also include the maintenance, expansion, and scientific supervision of the collections. In Naturama, these include important collections of insects and Aargau fossils, as well as rare bird specimens.
Wildpark RoggenhausenThe wildlife park is located west of the city of Aarau. It is located in the valley of the same name and is embedded in a rare naturydill. Wild animals, rare domestic animals, a nature trail, an orchard, and a restaurant with a large playground await you in the Roggenhausen Wildlife Park. WasserflueThe Wasserflue is a mountain of the Jura, located north of Erlinsbach in the canton of Aargau. It lies on the range east of the Salhöhe Pass. An antenna is located on the summit. It is one of the famous and picturesque locations and also the views from here are truly astonishing. Trekking is allowed here but beware of your every foot.
Staffelegg PassStaffelegg at 621 m altitude is one of the lowest Jura mountain passes. Bedded into the characteristic folds of the Jura Mountains, it is surrounded by several accessible peaks such as the Wasserflue and Gisliflue. The views from here are truly astonishing and it attracts a lot of tourists here.
Benkerjoch PassThis rather unknown pass in the canton of Aargau connects Aarau and Frick. Located directly below the Wasserflue mountain (866 m), the Benkerjoch is not only preferable to the Staffelegg because of the low traffic. A postal bus route runs over the pass to Aarau. It was built in the year of 1977.
