Morteratsch GlacierThe Morteratsch Glacier is by surface area the largest glacier in the Bernina Range of the Grisons Alps, which was Nestled in a majestic mountain world. Like huge tongues, the Pers and Morteratsch Glaciers push themselves from the snow-covered peaks of Piz Palu and Piz Bernina towards Pontresina.
DiavolezzaDiavolezza is famous for its beautiful views of the eternal ice and the highest peaks of the Eastern Alps. The Diavolezza is a mountain viewpoint above the Val Bernina in Graubünden. It has an altitude of 2,973 metres and is located between Munt Pers and Piz Trovat. At the top station, there is a restaurant with a panoramic terrace, as well as a hotel offering both hotel-class and bunk-style accommodations.
Lago BiancoLago Bianco or White Lake is a glacial lake situated at an elevation of 2,637 meters (8,650 feet), making it one of the highest-altitude lakes in the Alps. Alp Grüm railway stationAlp Grüm railway station is a railway station in the municipality of Poschiavo, in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is located on the south side of Bernina Pass, on the Bernina line of the Rhaetian Railway. It serves the hamlet of Alp Grüm, which, except in summer, is accessible only from the railway. From the station, thanks mainly to the 180° curve immediately to the south, there are far-reaching views of the Palü Glacier, Lago Palu and the Puschlav.
Piz RosegThe Piz Roseg is a summit of the Alps, at an altitude of 3,936 m, in the Bernina range, located in Switzerland in the canton of Grisons. The border with Italy passes not far to the south, on the summit of Roseg Pitschen. It was one of the picturesque locations in this area and it attracts a lot of tourists here.
Bernina PassA beautiful high mountain pass which was located in the heart of Grisons. It connects the famous resort town of St. Moritz in the Engadin valley with the Italian-speaking Val Poschiavo, which ends in the Italian town of Tirano in Valtellina. The pass lies a few kilometers east of Piz Bernina, and south of Val Minor. The pass was an important trade route over the Alps during the Middle Ages. The views from here are truly astonishing and it will be a nice experience riding through this pass.
