About Musée de Grenoble
The Museum of Grenoble is a municipal museum of Fine Arts and antiquities in the city of Grenoble in the Isère region of France. Located on the left bank of the Isère River, place Lavalette, it is known both for its collections of ancient art for its collections of modern and contemporary art. Thanks to the action of one of its curators of the interwar period, it is considered the very first museum of modern art in France. L'Alpe d'HuezAlpe d'Huez is one of Europe's premier skiing venues, having gained popularity when it hosted the bobsled events of the 1968 Winter Olympics. With 249 km of piste and 84 ski lifts, the resort is now one of the world's largest. Extensive snowmaking facilities helped combat the ski area's largely south-facing orientation and helped Alpe d'Huez appeal to beginner skiers, with very easy slopes. There are also good intermediate-grade slopes, but the resort is mostly known for freeskiing.
Col du GlandonCol du Glandon is one of the beautiful Alpine mountain passes, which most people are very familiar with. It sits on the road connecting Le Bourg-d’Oisans and La Chambre, both often used as bases by cyclists visiting the Alps. It was a place which is flourished with natural beauty and is also a nice trekking destination too. The pass is normally closed from the beginning of November to mid May.
