About Fontenay Abbey
Fontenay Abbey in Burgundy was founded in 1118 by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, a leading French saint, and is the oldest preserved Cistercian abbey in the world. it was declared World Heritage by Unesco. The Abbey is decorated with a landscaped park which was listed in 2004 as a "Remarkable Garden" by the National Council of Parks and Gardens. MuséoParc AlésiaThe Muséoparc Alesia is a museum and exhibition center at Alise-Sainte-Reine in the Côte-d'Or department in the Région Burgundy in France. The center opened on March 23, 2012.
