About Raja's Seat
Raja's seat is a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. A mountain peak in Kodagu district surrounded by Pushpagiri wildlife sanctuary. Well known for trekking. Madikeri Fortone of the interesting places for sightseeing in Coorg built in the last quarter of the 17th century by Mudduraja. It was first built in the last quarter of 17th century by Mudduraja. There was a palace built inside the fort as well.
Omkareshwara temple An ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva which was constructed in a mix of gothic and Islamic styles. Omkareshwara Temple was built by Lingarajendra in 1820 CE. The Shivalinga installed inside the temple is believed to be brought from Kashi.

We went there in the morning 6 am when the entry was free for the locals to jog in the raja seat park . The place was misty when we arrived and unable to see anything . Soon after when the mist and fog disappeared the beauty of the raja seat park and the view point were visible . Truly breath taking view !!!
