Manipur State MuseumThe Manipur State Museum in Imphal was inaugurated on 23rd September 1969. The museum comprises galleries of archaeological, ethnology and natural history. Visiting the museum, one could see the main feature of the museum which is like a 54-feet long royal boat called Hiyang Hiren, which you would find showcased in the open gallery. Not just this, but tourists from across the globe visiting the Manipur State Museum come across the historical dossiers, war weapons etc.
War CemeteryThe Imphal War Cemetery is located in Imphal, the capital of the Indian state of Manipur, in Northeast India, which has an international border with upper Burma (now Myanmar). The cemetery has 1,600 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War and is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
