Its mission is to serve as a center for research, outreach, teaching, and lifelong learning about Earth, its living systems, and its place in the universe. It is a 3.14-acre structure originally built to be an artificial, materially closed ecological system, or vivarium. It remains the largest closed ecological system ever created.
Bonelli HouseBonelli House is at the corner of Fifth and Spring Streets in Kingman, Arizona. The house was built in 1915.eorge Bonelli built the house in 1915 with local Peach Springs Tuff stone from Metcalfe Quarry. The home is two stories, rectangular, and has a low hipped-roof with dormers. The veranda on three sides is supported by square wooden pillars.The property belongs to the City of Kingman and is operated as a historic house museum by the Mohave County Historical Society.

Kinishba RuinsKinishba Ruins is a 600-room Mogollon great house archaeological site in eastern Arizona and is administered by the White Mountain Apache Tribe. It is located on the present-day Fort Apache Indian Reservation, in the Apache community of Canyon Day. As it demonstrates a combination of both Mogollon and Ancestral Puebloan cultural traits, archaeologists consider it part of the historical lineage of both the Hopi and Zuni cultures. It is designated as a National Historic Landmark.
