Bandimere Speedway
Bandimere Speedway sits at the foothills of the Rockies on the West side of the Metro Denver area. The track was established in 1958 by John Bandimere, Sr. as a way to augment his performance parts businesses in Denver, as well as have an opportunity to instruct youth on the automobile. The track has several quirks that make it unique within the NHRA's schedule of events. The track is also the only NHRA sanctioned track with a downhill staging area, and uphill shut down strip.

Cripple Creek and Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad
The Cripple Creek and Victor Narrow Gauge Railroad was a narrow gauge railroad that operated in Teller County from 1894 to 1918. The line ran from Cripple Creek to Victor, and was used to transport ore from the mines to the mills. The railroad was used for passenger service as well, and had a station in Cripple Creek where tourists could board trains for a scenic ride through the mountains. It was abandoned in 1918, and the right-of-way was later sold to the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad.

The Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad, often abbreviated as the C&TSRR, is a 3 ft narrow-gauge heritage railroad that operates on 64 miles of track between Antonito, Colorado. The railroad is named for two geographical features along the route: the 10,015-foot -high Cumbres Pass and the Toltec Gorge. The railroad has a total of ten narrow-gauge steam locomotives and two narrow-gauge diesel locomotives on its current roster.

Devil's Head Lookout
Devil's Head Lookout is a U.S. Forest Service fire lookout tower at the summit of Devils Head in Douglas County. The station was first established in 1912, with the original tower built in 1919. In the summer of 1951, the old tower was dismantled and current structure was built. In 1991. Sitting at the highest point of Rampart Range, the fire lookout is the last remaining such structure to be in service along the Front Range of Colorado.

Leadville National Fish Hatchery
The Leadville National Fish Hatchery was established in 1889: at 117 years old, it is the second-oldest National Fish Hatchery in existence. It lies within the Mount Massive Wilderness, most of whose area lies within San Isabel National Forest and which is managed by the United States Forest Service. Leadville National Fish Hatchery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Matchless Mine
Matchless Mine is the place where one of Leadville’s most notorious silver kings, Horace Tabor, struck it rich and where his mistress-turned-wife died alone and penniless in 1935.It made Horace Tabor's fortune. His wife, Baby Doe Tabor, died in the superintendent's cabin. The mine is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is part of the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is an open-air amphitheatre built into a rock structure in the western United States, near Morrison, Colorado, ten miles west of Denver. There is a large, tilted, disc-shaped rock behind the stage, a huge vertical rock angled outwards from stage right, several large outcrops angled outwards from stage left and a seating area for up to 9,525.
