Ko PhitakKo Phithak or Phithak Island is a small island in Thailand, in Chumphon Province on the eastern shore of the Gulf of Thailand. The island has an area of about 1.1392 km2 and there are about 42 households. Most of the local people are Buddhists who earn money by exporting seafood. Other sources of income include growing coconut trees, which explains why the island has many coconut trees. The residents make coconut juice to sell to tourists and to export.

Mu Ko Chumphon National ParkMu Ko Chumphon National Park is a national park of Thailand consisting of a group of islands in the Gulf of Thailand off the coast of, and part of, Chumphon Province, southern Thailand. Its old name was Had Sai Ree. It was renamed "Mu ko Chumphon" and established as a national park in 1999 by the forestry department. Its forests, mostly tropical rainforest, are a type found only on the mountain and on large islands. They provide shelter and habitats for many living things.
