Lake of ScannoThe Lake Scanno is a lake mountain, located in Abruzzo, belonging to about 3/4 of its surface to the territory of the municipality of Villalago and about 1/4 that of Scanno. It originated from an ancient landslide that broke off from Mount Genzana above which blocked the river Tasso in a period between 12,820 and 3,000 years ago.

Via Lago della DuchessaThe Lake of the Duchess is a lake mount the high seas of Lazio, in the province of Rieti, within the regional reserve Mountains of the Duchess, in the territory of the municipality of Borgorose, on the border with the province of Aquila in Abruzzo. The toponym derives from that attributed to the surrounding mountains by the Bolognese Francesco De Marchi in the sixteenth century. in homage to Margaret of Austria, Duchess of Parma and Piacenza, and of the Duchy of Leonessa and Cittaducale.
