Helmsley Walled GardenThis historic 5-acre walled garden has vibrant displays of flowers, fruit, and vegetables growing throughout the season. It was the Kitchen Garden of Duncombe Park until just after World War 1 when it was leased as a market garden. There are Victorian glasshouses, fruit trees, vines, a peony garden, a dipping pond, and over 250 varieties of clematis.
Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park Now Open - 2nd April to 31st October 2021The Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is home to over 80 striking contemporary sculptures, situated within 45 acres of stunning woodland and gardens. The Park features works by internationally renowned artists, all inspired by nature. The beautiful tranquil valley location is further enhanced by a Pagoda, Summerhouse, Norse Hut, Contemplation Circle and Himalayan Shelter, all complimented by three lakes and decorative bridges.
Scampston Walled GardenScampston Hall is one of the finest regency country houses in North Yorkshire and contains many fine works of art, furniture, and porcelain. The hall features in two storeys of stuccoed orange-red brick with a slate roof and stuccoed brick chimney stacks. The frontage has seven bays, the central three of which are bowed. Its Walled Garden has an exciting and unashamedly modern feel to and complements the adjacent 18th-century 'Capability' Brown parkland.
