Alnmouth Beach

Bamburgh Beach
Bamburgh Beach is a Sandy beach located near Alnwick in Northumberland. It is the perfect place to go for a walk after a visit to the village of Bamburgh. walk along the beach in a northerly direction brings the visitor to Stags Rocks, so named because of the white stag painted on the rocks. There are some interesting rock pools in this area of the beach and a small lighthouse - the most northerly of its kind in mainland England.

Blyth Beach
Blyth South is a long, wide, golden stretch of sandy beach, backed by a system of sand dunes which are a haven for wildlife and a designated area of Special Nature Conservation. The beach also has a zone for water sports such as jet-skiing, and a yachting club. During the winter, anglers flock to the beach for the excellent fishing opportunities.

Cocklawburn Beach
This stunning, sand and rock, beach, backed by grassy dunes, lies on the North Sea coast, between Berwick and the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve. This beach is a great spot to come for long, windswept walks, to admire the big, open sky and beautiful seascapes.

Cresswell Beach
One of the beautiful sandy beach located in Northumberland. The gently sloping sand is backed by extensive sand dunes and can seem to go on forever at low tide. At this state of tide there are also a few rocky patches are exposed - these offer some great rockpooling. Due to the sheer size of this beach and its large wind protecting sand dunes it also makes for a great place to take the dog for a walk.

Spittal Beach
Spittal beach is a sandy beach with shallow water at high tide on the southern side of Tweed estuary. Its Coast Path runs down from Berwick to Holy Island and beyond that down to Druridge Bay. The beach is backed by a promenade and seaside shops.Visitors have been coming here since the 18th century, when Spittal was a popular spa and bathing resort.

Warkworth Beach
Warkworth beach is a superb beach that runs from Birling Carrs to Amble Breakwater. Reached by a road from the village and then on foot, the beach is popular with walkers and sea anglers, as well as families in the summer. From the beach there are fine views, looking northwards towards Alnmouth, or across the waters towards Coquet Island, now an RSPB reserve.
