Somerset
Somerset covers a vast area of land in the south-west of England, from the rolling Blackdown Hills on the Somerset-Devon border, to the Mendips and Quantocks south of Bristol, and finishing in the west with the Exmoor National Park. To the north is Bath and North-East Somerset, which although administered separately, nonetheless feel like part and parcel of this English county.

Blenheim Gardens
A wonderfully preserved example of London's 1960s-style high-density, low-rise public housing. Created in the 1920's it is now a mature, attractive and sheltered haven, popular with residents and visitors. The park provides spring and summer bedding displays, a wide range of trees, shrubs and perennials which thrive in the mild seaside climate.

Bridgwater & Taunton Canal
.The Bridgwater and Taunton Canal is a canal in South West England. It links the two towns of Bridgwater and Taunton and measures 14.5 miles long and has 7 locks. There is no navigable connection to the River Parrett today but the Canal is enjoyed by walkers, cyclists, nature enthusiasts, fishermen and boatmen alike. The majority of the Canal is rural and offers tranquility to all.

East Somerset Railway - Cranmore Station
The East Somerset Railway is a 2+1⁄2-mile heritage railway in Somerset, running between Cranmore and Mendip Vale. Prior to the Beeching Axe, the railway was once part of the former Cheddar Valley line that ran from Witham to Yatton, meeting the Somerset and Dorset Joint Railway at Wells. The railway has steam train rides, engine shed walk through, small museum, signal box. They also have a miniature railway, shop and cafe.

Kilver Court
Kilver Court is an historic house and gardens in Shepton Mallet in the English county of Somerset. The River Sheppey powered textile mills and it later became a factory, the headquarters of the Showerings brewing business, and then the headquarters of a leather-goods manufacturer, Mulberry. It is now used as a shopping centre.

National Trust - Coleridge Cottage
Coleridge Cottage is a cottage situated in Nether Stowey, Bridgwater, Somerset, England. It is a grade II* listed building. The 17th century cottage was originally two buildings which were later combined and expanded. The cottage was constructed in the 17th century as two attached buildings. One contained a parlour, kitchen and service room on the ground floor and three corresponding bed chambers above, and an adjoining byre or barn.

West Somerset Railway
West Somerset Railway offers 20 miles of heritage railway through stunning Somerset countryside and coast. It is the longest standard gauge independent heritage railway in the United Kingdom. Services normally operate over just the 20.5 miles between Minehead and Bishops Lydeard. During special events some trains continue a further two miles to Norton Fitzwarren where a connection to Network Rail allows occasional through trains to operate onto the national network.

Westonzoyland Pumping Station Museum
Westonzoyland Pumping Station offers visitors the chance to see a fascinating collection of pumps and engines in action on special steaming days. The museum is housed in an 1830 brick-built pumping station which was the first of several similar pumping stations to be built on the Somerset Levels which are prone to flooding. The Grade 2* listed building houses an 1861 Easton & Amos machine, fully restored and working.
