De Oude HortusThe Oude Hortus is a publicly accessible garden in the Hortusbuurt in the city of Groningen. The garden, located between Grote Rozenstraat and Grote Kruisstraat, was founded in 1626 by pharmacist and amateur botanist Hendrick Munting. The garden is still home to many species of animals and especially plants, including several species of stinsen plants , such as the imperial crown , wild garlic and winter aconite .
