Amerson River ParkAmerson River Park, is a one-of-a-kind outdoor oasis. Featuring 10 miles of woodland trails, two lakes, and two rivers, the park provides visitors with a plethora of recreational opportunities. The ample hiking trails offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape and beautiful glimpses of native flora and fauna. Anglers can dip their lines into the two riverways to fish. Kayakers also have plenty to explore between the two rivers which are connected by 12 manmade channels.
Luther Williams FieldThis is a great family destination for outdoor fun. It's known for its ballpark and community sports facility, which includes a football field surrounded by a track. The park also has basketball and tennis courts, sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, and bleachers to enjoy the games. The park offers free parking and an excellent playground for the kiddos. Furthermore, Luther Williams Field is home to regular youth programs as well as football and soccer camps during the summer months.
Tattnall Square ParkTattnall Square Park is a beautifully maintained 200-acre park that features activities and attractions for all. Visitors can explore the 8 miles of scenic trails by foot, bicycle or horseback, as well as find optimal fishing spots. There are two playgrounds, an amphitheater, disc golf course and picnic areas available to use and enjoy. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the historic attractions nearby such as The Grand Opera House and the Andersonville National Historic Site.
