Kane Mountain Fire TowerKane Mountain Fire Tower is located at the highest point of the Adirondacks and is an important part of the state’s history. The fire tower was constructed in 1929 by New York State Conservation Commission personnel, and it has been used to help detect fires throughout the area ever since.
