The cave temple is dedicated to Trimurties of Hinduism - Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Unlike the other cave temples at Mahabalipuram, this one doest have any pillared courtyard and has three shrines straightaway. The middle one is dedicated to Shiva, right most to Vishnu and left most to Brahma. This temple is less frequented by visitors as it is located in one corner walled by tall rocks on the entry point. Like all the other temples at Mahabalipuram, this one too has pleanty of sculptures. There is also a rock cut water tank infront of the temple.
