About Batavialand

Batavialand is a heritage park located on the coast of Lelystad that, in addition to a shipyard, also houses a museum. As of 1 July 2017, the park was created from a merger of the Bataviawerf, the Nieuw Land museum and the maritime archeology department of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands. With great support from the province of Flevoland, which is investing 10 million in Batavialand, it should become the museum's main attraction in the province.
