Flevoland is the 12th and youngest province of the Netherlands, established in 1986. Almere JungleAlmere Jungle is an animal shelter and education center in the municipality of Almere and was founded in 1996. There is mainly shelter for small mammals, reptiles, fish, birds and insects. It was set up as a sheltered workshop and had more than 70 participants in 2016. The animals are taken care of as much as possible by the participants who are assisted by professional guides. In addition to animal care, clients are active in the hospitality industry, technology, shops and landscaping.

Antony Gormley Exposure StatueExposure is a piece of public art that is created to react to the changing environment. Due to the changes caused by global warming, the concern is that of rising of sea levels. This life-size statue is placed in the crypt of the Winchester Cathedral, one of the largest cathedrals in England. It is probably the most mysterious sculpture by Antony Gormley. During rainy months the crypt floods and the floodwater combined with dull light creates a wonderful effect.

BatavialandBatavialand is a heritage park located on the coast of Lelystad that, in addition to a shipyard, also houses a museum. As of 1 July 2017, the park was created from a merger of the Bataviawerf, the Nieuw Land museum and the maritime archeology department of the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands. With great support from the province of Flevoland, which is investing 10 million in Batavialand, it should become the museum's main attraction in the province.

BremerbaaiBremerbaai is the ideal swimming beach on the Veluwemeer. In some places the water is 1.8 meters deep so that it is not just paddling on the beach, newly constructed in 2016. The beach is interspersed with patches of grass and has plenty of shade. The beach is easily accessible by bicycle and car and there is a paid parking lot that offers space for approximately 150 cars.

Crazy RiverCrazy River is a Log Flume built by German manufacturer Mack Rides. It is next to Walibi World and is located in Flevoland, Netherlands. Crazy Riverhas a length of 0.36 kilometres.

De KluutDe Kluut Island is located in the middle of the Veluwemeer, on the border between Gelderland and Flevoland, and is 4 hectares in size. On the island there are tall trees, reed palms, dense undergrowth with open spaces here and there. The harbor is generally calm and is spacious and open. The Veluwemeer can be admired over the reed. There is a tipi campsite on the west side of the island, which is why the Kluut is also called the tipi island . The camping site is not accessible to port guests.

Fibi's Bubble SwirlFibi's Bubble Swirl is a hot air balloon carousel in the family amusement park Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen .Variegated Balloons opened in 2000 , as an attraction in Walibi Land , the children's area of Walibi Holland . In late 2010, the attraction was renamed to Fibi's Bubble Swirl. The attraction was built by SBF Visa.

Floriade AlmereFloriade Expo 2022 is a Dutch horticultural exposition to be held in Almere, Netherlands. It will be the 23rd AIPH world horticultural exhibition and the seventh Floriade and will be held from 14 April to 9 October 2022. On 15 November 2017, Floriade Expo 2022 was officially recognized as a horticultural exhibition by the Bureau International des Expositions.

GoliathGoliath is a steel roller coaster located at Walibi Holland in Biddinghuizen, Flevoland, Netherlands. was described as "the fastest, highest and longest coaster in the Benelux. It was mainland Europe's second Intamin "Mini Hyper Rollercoaster", so named as the ride is styled on the larger ride, but with a lower maximum height of 47 metres. The train travels at speeds of up to 107 kilometres per hour along 1,214 metres of track.

Haaz' GarageHaaz' Garage is an attraction in the Walibi Holland family amusement park in Biddinghuizen. Rocky's Trucks was built in 2000 by SBF Visa in Walibi Land . The theme of the attraction was Bugs Bunny , with carrots and the like. When the name was changed in 2005, the theme remained the same. The current name refers to a park mascot, Haaz . The attraction used to have a covered queue, but it was demolished in 2009.

HarderbroekThe Harderbroek is a nature reserve that was created in 1974 in the municipality of Zeewolde as a swamp and pond area. The area is 187 hectares and is managed by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten . It is located opposite Harderwijk , sandwiched between the Knardijk and the Ganzenweg , and borders the Randmeer Wolderwijd . The Harderbos stretches out on the other side of the Ganzenweg.

HorsterwoldThe Horsterwold is a young forest near Zeewolde that is approximately 3700 hectares in size and borders the Nuldernauw . This forest is not only the largest deciduous forest in the Netherlands , it is also special because it is a forest on clay soil . The growth of trees is spectacular because acid rain has no effect on this environment and because the soil is very fertile.

IJsseloogIJsseloog is an artificial island in the middle of the Ketelmeer that aims to store contaminated sludge from the bottom of the lake. It also has a recreation and nature development function. The island owes its name to its location in front of the mouth of the IJssel and to the shape of the sludge depot, round like an eye,so that the contact surface of the sludge depot with the environment is as small as possible. In addition, the word "oog" is an old Dutch word for island.

Kasteel AlmereAlmere Castle is an unfinished castle in the Dutch town of Almere . Construction started in 2000 but was halted in 2002, after which the building has become a present-day ruin . It is located on Oude Waterlandseweg in Almere Haven and is visible from the A6 highway .

KromslootparkThe Kromslootpark is a nature reserve of approximately 149 hectares in the municipality of Almere . The area is part of the city forests of Almere. The Kromsloot Park forms a continuous green zone between Almere Haven and Almere Stad , together with the Beginbos and the Vroege Vogelbos. The area is characterized by creeks, wetlands , fields and forest. Highland cattle , sheep , Mangalitza pigs and horses graze there.

LepelaarplassenThe Lepelaarplassen are a nature reserve of approximately 500 hectares located on the Markermeer near Almere in the Dutch province of Flevoland . It has been a nature reserve since 1971 . The area has been managed by the Het Flevo landscape foundation since 1994 and was designated a Natura 2000 area in 2009. Since 2018, the Lepelaarplassen have been one of the core areas of the Nieuw Land National Park .
