The Freedom Museum is a museum in the Gelderland town of Groesbeek , which shows the history of the Second World War in Germany and the Netherlands with a focus on the liberation of the Dutch-German border region in 1944-1945 . The museum is located just outside the village in the hills near the German border.

Groesbeek Canadian War CemeteryThe Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery and Memorial is located about three kilometres north of the village of Groesbeek, Netherlands. The cemetery contains 2,338 Canadian soldiers of World War II. It was built to a design by Commission architect Philip Hepworth. Groesbeekse BosGroesbeekse Bos is the name of a collection of forest plots in the former municipality of Groesbeek (now Berg en Dal ) that are managed by Staatsbosbeheer .
