In the plans for the deepened construction of the southern ring road, Sterrebos will become part of the planned Zuiderplantsoen. Originally it was actually a star forest, a forest with eight paths that led in different directions from a central point. This setup, which was in vogue in the eighteenth century and was ideally suited for hunting, has largely been lost.
