About Prince William V Gallery
A majestic art gallery situated in the midst of the historical centre of The Hague. It is called the hidden gem of The Hague. Prince William V of Oranje-Nassau had the room built in 1774 in order to exhibit his paintings. The walls were fully covered, in order to clearly show the wealth of his collection. GevangenpoortThe Gevangenpoort is a medieval prison in The Hague . A museum has been housed in the building since 1882 . The prison gate is close to the Binnenhof and the Hofvijver .
