About Castellum Hoge Woerd
Castellum Hoge Woerd is a contemporary reconstruction of a Roman fort in the Dutch hometown of De Meern . It houses, among other things, the Hoge Woerd Archaeological Museum , the Podium Hoge Woerd theater hall , a center for nature and environmental education and a café-restaurant. MáximaparkThe Máximapark is a city park , located in Utrecht. The park is named after princess, later queen Máxima. It forms the green central heart of the large urban expansion of Utrecht west of the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal , which started in the second half of the 1990s. Molen de SterDe Ster sawmill is the center of the Molenerf de Ster, the only completely preserved sawmill yard in the Netherlands. Molenerf de Ster consists of the windmill with sawmill , the miller's house, two servants' houses and three wood-drying sheds. The top of the mill reaches up to 20 meters. The blades are another 9 meters above that. The sawmill originally dates from 1739. From the original mill, only the sawmill remained since 1911. The mill was rebuilt between 1996 and 1998.
