To reach the park, take U.S. 40 west from Craig for about 25 miles. Turn north onto Colorado Highway 13 and travel about 30 miles to the town of Yampa. The park is located just north of town, on the east side of the Yampa River. There is a large parking area and a visitor center where you can get information about the park and its many features. 

Admission to the park is free, making it an affordable and enjoyable way to spend a day exploring the area's natural beauty.
