It presents projects related to architecture, urban planning and design in Europe from a social perspective, with an emphasis on the Meuse-Rhine Euregion. The institute organizes exhibitions, lectures, workshops and architecture tours, among other things.
Castle Strijthagen ArtLandA majestic and beautiful estate on the territory of the Dutch Limburg municipality of Landgraaf, located in the Strijthagerbeek valley, at the heart of Schaesberg. It was built in the 18th century on the site of an older castle. The walls of the main building consist of so-called bacon layers. The castle complex also consists of the classicist steward's house, the 17th-century white-plastered outer bailey, the watermill called Strijthagermolen, and the coach house.
Centre CéramiqueThe Center Céramique is a multifunctional building in Maastricht in the Céramique district of the same name, located on the corner of Plein 1992 and Avenue Céramique. The building was designed by Jo Coenen and houses, among other things, the Maastricht city library and various exhibition spaces. The building has seven floors and is actually oriented to three sides; the west and north sides are oriented towards the square, the east side towards Avenue Céramique.
Eijsden CastleKasteel Eijsden is a castle and national monument in the Dutch Limburg municipality of Eijsden-Margraten . The castle was built in 1636, rebuilt in 1767 and restored historically in 1881-1886. It consists of two wings at right angles to each other, which connect to a projecting heavy corner tower at the outer corner, which in turn is flanked by a narrow stair turret. Both towers have a helmet roof with a knobbly spire.

It belongs to the architecture of Het Nieuwe Bouwen, a style more or less comparable to that of the Bauhaus, Modernism and International Style. Architect is Frits Peutz, largely responsible for reshaping Heerlen in a modern way.
Hoensbroek CastleHoensbroek Castle is one of the largest castles in the Netherlands . The oldest part of the castle, especially the high round tower, dates from around 1360 , when Herman Hoen renovated it. In 1225 there was already a predecessor in this swamp, a so-called motte -fortress. In 1250 a fortified house was built on the site of the present castle.
Kasteel ArcenArcen Castle is a double moated stately country house in the Dutch Limburg village of Arcen, which has been in the municipality of Venlo since 1 January 2010. The current castle is in good condition, since it is part of the Castle Gardens of Arcen. Virtually nothing is left of the fortress that preceded the present castle. The remains of it are located west of the current castle, a little north of the Wymarse Molen, a restored water mill that can be visited, except in the winter months.
