About Limburg
Limburg is the southernmost of the 12 provinces of the Netherlands. The city features a number of historic homes, cathedrals cobblestone streets. There are claims that Maastricht is the oldest city in the country, but others contest that Nijmegen holds that title. The capital city is situated within walking distance of Belgium and is just a short bike ride away from Germany. Amerikaanse BegraafplaatsNetherlands American Cemetery and Memorial is a Second World War military war grave cemetery, located in the village of Margraten. More than 8,000 soldiers are buried at this only American cemetery in the Netherlands. The majority were killed during the liberation of the south-east of the Netherlands in WWII and the advance through Germany.

Aqua Mundo Het HeijderbosThe Heijderbos is a bungalow park in Heijen in Dutch Limburg . The park is operated by Center Parcs. The park is the first Center Parcs park to have a wild water course in the subtropical swimming paradise. The bungalow park was renovated in 1987. For example, the park center was covered. This park has the fastest whitewater course in all of Center Parcs. The Jungle Dome of the Heijderbos has a partnership with the World Wildlife Fund.

Castle Strijthagen ArtLandA majestic and beautiful estate on the territory of the Dutch Limburg municipality of Landgraaf, located in the Strijthagerbeek valley, at the heart of Schaesberg. It was built in the 18th century on the site of an older castle. The walls of the main building consist of so-called bacon layers. The castle complex also consists of the classicist steward's house, the 17th-century white-plastered outer bailey, the watermill called Strijthagermolen, and the coach house.

CaubergThe Cauberg is a slope in Valkeberg in Dutch Limburg . The Cauberg is known for its cycling race ; the slope is incorporated into the course of väöl wedsjtrieje. The finish of the Amstel Gold Race 2003 lies at the top of the Cauberg; the riders need to climb the Cauberg a few gaps in this race. In 1938 , 1948 , 1979 and 1998 the Cauberg was part of the route of ' t Waereld Kampioensjap bicycle race.

Centre CéramiqueThe Center Céramique is a multifunctional building in Maastricht in the Céramique district of the same name, located on the corner of Plein 1992 and Avenue Céramique. The building was designed by Jo Coenen and houses, among other things, the Maastricht city library and various exhibition spaces. The building has seven floors and is actually oriented to three sides; the west and north sides are oriented towards the square, the east side towards Avenue Céramique.

CuypershuisThe Cuypershuis is a museum in the Limburg city of Roermond , located in the former residence and studio of architect Pierre Cuypers . From 1932 to 2009 the Stedelijk Museum Roermond was located here. The Cuypershuis was created in 2011 after the Stedelijk Museum Roermond was divided into three parts: the Cuypershuis, the Historiehuis and the collection of modern art of the municipality of Roermond.

De HamertDe Hamert is an estate and nature reserve in the municipality of Bergen in the Dutch province of Limburg. The more than 1000 ha estate with forest, heath and water is owned by the foundation Het Limburgs Landschap. De Hamert is part of De Maasduinen National Park. The area is crisscrossed with walking routes and popular with bird watchers.

Djengu RiverDjengu River is a rapid river in the Dutch amusement park Toverland. It is one of the biggest attractions of Toverland and the fourth water attraction.The theming of the attraction revolves entirely around the Dvertebrae. Animatronics of the Dvertebrate are set up at various places along and around the attraction. The attraction's station is located in a large rock formation.

Eijsden CastleKasteel Eijsden is a castle and national monument in the Dutch Limburg municipality of Eijsden-Margraten . The castle was built in 1636, rebuilt in 1767 and restored historically in 1881-1886. It consists of two wings at right angles to each other, which connect to a projecting heavy corner tower at the outer corner, which in turn is flanked by a narrow stair turret. Both towers have a helmet roof with a knobbly spire.

Estate Wijlre CastleBuitenplaats Kasteel Wijlre is a center for culture and landscape in and around Castle Wijlre in the South Limburg village of Wijlre. Contemporary art exhibitions are presented in the castle's historic coach house and the modern art pavilion Hedge House in the castle park. The whole of the castle, the gardens and the art collection are seen as a Gesamtkunstwerk. Buitenplaats Wijlre Castle is a total experience for art, nature, architecture and heritage.
