The nature reserve is enclosed by the polders Gement , Honderd Morgen and Rijskampen, the Bossche districts of Kruiskamp and Deuteren , and Vlijmen .
Natuurgebied Huis ter heideThis estate, which also includes the Loonsche Heide and De Mast forest area, borders Tilburg to the northwest and is named after a country house dating from 1864 on the road from De Moer to Loon op Zand. The heath takes its name from the hamlet of Strabrecht near Heeze. In July 2010, around 200 hectares of the area were damaged or destroyed in a wildfire that took over a week to put out.
