Abyss Lake
Abyss Lake is a lake in southeastern Alaska. Lying on the eastern side of the Brady Glacier, it receives meltwater from it, which in turn flows into the Dundas River, Dundas Bay, Cross Sound and thence into the Pacific.A part of the Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, its water is regularly blocked by an ice dam. When such a dam breaks in a glacial lake outburst flood, much of the lake's water is propelled into Dundas Bay, along with trees, ice chunks, and sediment.

Chinns Lake
Chinns Lake is a fun and easy trail with great camping on the water, hiking and fishing all within an hour or so drive of Denver, Colorado. This is a popular trail for fishing, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are June through September. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Echo Lake park
Echo Lake Park is a park located along the Mount Evans Scenic Byway about 33.5 mi west of Denver, Colorado. The park provides a stone shelter with picnic tables and barbecue grills on one end of the lake, and the 1926 Echo Lake Lodge and an Arapaho National Forest campground are found at the other. Access to backpacking trails, including the Chicago Lakes trail and Lincoln Lakes trail, can be found adjacent to the lake. The park is part of the Denver Mountain Parks system.

Fall River Reservoir

Georgetown Lake
Georgetown Lake is a 2,818-acre reservoir in Deer Lodge and Granite Counties, Montana. The reservoir impounds the North Fork of Flint Creek and lies at an elevation of 6,337 feet just west of the Anaconda Range. The reservoir is a popular recreational area with campgrounds, resorts and picnic areas along its 17.36 mi shoreline.

Georgetown Reservoir
The Georgetown Lake, located just off I-70 is the easiest to access fishing location in the area. The lake is equipped with handicap-accessible fishing docks and a maintained trail that borders the entire lake. It also sports a big-horn sheep viewing area and plenty of places to set up a family picnic. Boating on the lake is allowed so long as they are not motorized. This includes gas or electric motors.

Herman Lake
Herman Lake is located just north of Othello. This mixed species fishery offers good fishing for Rainbow Trout and warmwater species. It is one of the iconic location which was in the foothill of a mountain and is a good location for a picnic.

St. Mary's Glacier
St. Mary's Glacier is a hike with stunning views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, a beautiful lake, and, of course, the glacier. The nearest community is the unincorporated Alice, Colorado and is accessible via a 1.5 mile hike from a parking lot in Alice. Summit Lake Park
Summit Lake Park is a park located along Mount Evans Scenic Byway about 64 miles west of Denver, Colorado. The park is 160 acres in size and contains alpine tundra. Land to the east of the lake is in a state of permafrost which helps to prevent drainage of the area. During the summer, the park is filled with wildflowers, some of which have not been found anywhere else outside of the Arctic Circle. The park is named after Summit Lake, the headwaters of Bear Creek.
