Pomona Natural BridgeThe Pomona Natural Bridge is a breathtaking sight. The bridge is a stunning sandstone span that measures 92 feet long and 15 feet high. It was created over millions of years by the Middle Fork River, which carved deep into the area's hills and valleys. Visitors can enjoy views of this sandstone enclave from its east side, off of State Route 18. The west side can be seen via a trail that leads to the top of the bridge, offering more expansive viewpoints along.

R. Buckminster Fuller and Anne Hewlett Dome HomeR. Buckminster Fuller was a trailblazing innovator, best known for his iconic geodesic dome designs. His lifelong pursuit of sustainable living led him to develop a prototype home which he named the Anne Hewlett Dome Home in Jackson County, Illinois in 1971. This 450 sq ft space was constructed out of reinforced aluminum and used the minimal amount of materials possible to make such an effective structure; Fuller even aimed to make it completely autonomous and off-grid.
