Chathamangalam Hills (Theruvumala Kannur)

Chathamangalam Hills, also known as Theruvumala is a hill station is a trekking spot in the Kannur district of Kerala, India. The hilltop consists of a large plain of grasslands and lies near the border of Coorg in Karnataka.

Chembra Peak is the highest peak in the Wayanad district of Kerala State in Southern India. Situated at 2,100 meters above sea level, the peak is a part of the Wayanad hill ranges in the Western Ghats and it adjoins Nilgiri Hills in Tamil Nadu and Vellarimala Hills in Kozhikode district.

Third highest concrete gravity dam in India which is 138 metre tall and is constructed as a part of Idukki hydroelectric project along with the two other dams at Idukki and Kulamavu. One of the main Picnic spot and viewpoint in Idukki

Ilaveezhapoonchira, sandwiched in the border of Kottayam and Idukki Districts of Kerala State in Southern India is a hill station surrounded by three hillocks - Mankunnu, Kudayathoor Vindhyan and Thonippara. This mesmerising hill station offers panoramic views spreading five districts of the state- Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, and Thrissur.

Illikkal Kallu (Illikkal Rock) is a large rock located 900 meters above the sea level on Illikkal Mala (Illikkal Mountain) in the Western Ghats. The rock is peculiar for its view, with half of it fallen down years ago and the remaining half still standing tall intimidating and fascinating its visitors. The beauty of the landscape is comparable to that of the popular Pillar Rocks at Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu.

Paithalmala is a mountain peak in the Kannur District of Kerala State in Southern India. Located at Pottenplave Village, this is the highest peak in Kannur, at a height of 1,372 meters above sea level. The peak lies on the Kerala- Karnataka border, adjacent to the Coorg Hills as an extension to the forests of the Kodagu Hills of the Western Ghat Mountains.

Pakshipathalam, a natural rock cave deep inside the forest in the Wayanad district of Kerala State in Southern India lies at a height of 1,740 meters in the Brahmagiri hill ranges. The trekking trail here is famous for its richness of bird life and it takes you through moist deciduous forests, rolling hillocks, open grasslands, slippery trails, and narrow rocky caves.
