Chathamangalam Hills (Theruvumala Kannur)Chathamangalam Hills (Theruvumala Kannur) - 26 Sep 2021A much better mountain peak than what I was expecting it to be. The hiking trails are pretty good even through you have to walk roughly two kilometres one side. If you have off road vehicle, you can adventure drive almost 95% of the trail.

Lord Jesus inThabore hill top …Christ the Redeemer statue Thabore (Lord Jesus in Thabore hill top) - 28 Mar 2021The local Christ the Redeemer overlooking waves of western ghat mountains. 2 km of hike (one way) will get you here. The trail starts from Thabore, a small town below.
The peak is a favourite for sunset view and a lot of small birds can be spotted here while visiting.

Shivaganga HillShivagange hill - 26 Dec 2020Climb a lot of steps to be here. The viewpoint on top is pretty incredible but we weren't able to go there since we reached near the closing time. There is an temple pool below the hill where you can swim if you wish to.

Thumbithullum ParaThumbithullum Para - 26 Nov 2020After failed attempts to see sunrise from hilltop three weeks ago, we tried it again and failed again. This time mist was the culprit even though we reached the peak way before sunrise time.
There is about two kilometres of uphill walk to reach here, the starting point near Kattadikadavu viewpoint....

Once you reach the top you are filled the amazing views all around. Definitely recommended when you in Munnar area.
The trek is can considered or 'medium' or 'extreme' level trek depending on where you decide to stop and return, but is definitely worth it....

Eravikulam National ParkEravikulam National Park - 07 Nov 2020Unfortunately we couldn't see any Nilgiri Tahrs this time but still the views were great. Definitely a top attraction near Munnar. The entry fee when we went was Rs.200 per person. It includes a bus ride to the top and back.
