The Mürzsteg Alps are a mountain range of the Northern Limestone Alps, in the Eastern Alps, Austria. The range is part of the Styrian-Lower Austrian Limestone Alps and is separated from its neighbouring groups. Hohe VeitschThe Hohe Veitsch is the highest mountain in the Mürzsteg Alps, in the Austrian state of Styria. It is a limestone massif, rich in wildflower meadows and good views, and runs from west to east to the Klein-Veitsch Alm, a distances of around 5.5 km. There is also a plateau walk via Seeboden to the Kleinveitschalm.
